Who We Are
First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow is a local congregation of the global United Methodist Church. This congregation was established on the corner of College and Main in downtown Broken Arrow in 1903.
We’ve been creating disciples for Christ for over 118 years.

Luke: The Good Doctor
The gospel of Luke is unique. Its author was a gentile physician – who was not Jewish. The Gospel of Luke and its sequel, the Book of Acts (also written by Luke) are the only books in the Bible by a non-Jew. Luke heard the gospel from Paul and then did extensive research into the life of Jesus. He consulted numerous sources (including Matthew and Mark) and collected the stories and teachings of Jesus for his Gentile friends. Many of the most famous stories of Jesus are found only in the book of Luke.
