Book of Hebrews | Rev. Larry Varvel | Activity Building 141
The New Testament Book of Hebrews was written to help First Century Jewish Christians understand how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah. For Twenty First Century Gentile Christians like us, the book provide a wonderful bridge between the Old and New Testaments. Pastor Larry Varvel will help us understand all of the Old Testament references in the New Testament Book of Hebrew, and show us how they enhance our understanding of Jesus’ role as Messiah.
Heroes of the Old Testament | Rev. Sei Yoon Park | Activity Building 137
How do we stay faithful to God in a difficult time in life or in this fast-changing world? This women’s Bible study will offer stand-alone sessions to dive deep into Old Testament character studies. Through the lives of five Old Testament figures – Gideon, Nehemiah, Esther, Hosea, and Malachi, we will learn how God uses the lives of ordinary people for His glory and see how we can live a bold, faithful life in obedience to God, learning from their faithfulness.
Parenting: Getting it Right | Paige Gaither | Activity Building 139
Together we will go through a reflective parenting study that does not tell us how to parent, but helps us ask the questions that lead to creating a family goal. Andy & Sandra Stanley create an inviting study to help you find your IT that works for your family and guides you to achieve the family goals you create. Each family is different and parents differently, so let’s encourage and learn from one another!
