There are many opportunities to serve in the local church. Volunteer opportunities and a brief description are listed below.


Distribute the bulletin before service, take up the offering during service.

Freezer Friends

Make and/or deliver meals to our church family.

Altar Guild

Maintain pencils and restock envelopes & pamphlets in pew racks as needed.


Keep the kitchen in order and assess pantry inventory.

Office Volunteers

Assist office staff with a variety of tasks.

Women’s Retreat

Help plan and coordinate activities and attend the women’s retreat.

Communion Servers

Serve communion in the sanctuary and/or chapel.

Preparation of the Elements

Prepare the elements for communion.


Help plan/coordinate activities for block party, parades, church picnic, Rose Festival, etc.


Read the ‘Call to Worship’ and scripture during church service.


Welcome members and visitors to the church.

Mission Committee

Reach out to local, regional, and international missions of our church.

The Loft

Assist with stocking, cleaning and maintaining The Loft on Sundays.

Prayer Card

Pray over and send cards to those in need of prayer.

Prayer Shawl

Knit and/or crochet shawls for those in need.


Participate in singing to and with the congregation.

Orchestra and Bells

Play an instrument or bell during service(s).


Serve the meal at Faith Break on Wednesday.

Bereavement Dinners

Help prepare and serve a meal to church members and families before or after a funeral service.



Lend a helping hand to promote and carry out exciting events in our local community and the surrounding area.

Broken Arrow Christmas Parade

Help serve hot chocolate and coffee to the community

Rooster Days Parade

Help serve lemonade to the community

Safety Spooktacular

Volunteer at one of many attractions, like bounce houses and games

Rose Festival

Serve food or volunteer with games and attractions in Main Street for families

Broken Arrow Neighbors

Serve onsite at food pantry

Restore Hope

Serve at the food pantry warehouse

Partners in Education with Broken Arrow Public Schools

Help serve local teachers and administrators breakfast or lunch

Night Light Tulsa

Serve meals and help provide other services to Tulsa’s homeless population in Thursday evenings

Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

Serve onsite at food warehouse by sorting and preparing food boxes

Iron Gate

Serve meals or sort food items for the local community
